I've really outdone myself here, people; I've evolved beyond the confines of Scoop, and I think I have to share this with the world (or, at the very least, with MU nation).

If you are interested in purchasing tickets to MU/Butler at Hinkle (at face value), send me a PM or subscribe to this thread.

Please do not post here or bump the thread asking for more information.  I hate to be so esoteric, but eventually I will make it apparent as to why I can't post the details/info publicly.  If I question your credentials, please do not be offended as I prefer the tickets be kept amongst bona fide MU fans.  And swear to God: this is not a scam... it's totally legit/legal/safe/ethically hilarious/etc., and I promise I am not trolling Scoopers.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

ESPN finally hired you to take Myron's place, hey?

Can I wait until I see if we win the next two games?  ;)

In reading the fine print on Ticketmaster's website, I suppose there's no need for hyper-secrecy since although Butler can cancel the group sale anytime, they can't actually cancel tickets once they've been purchased (unless you make an attempt to resell the tickets to someone else, in which case they could cancel those tickets, even if they probably wouldn't).

Background: The Butler Office of Alumni and Parent Programs [OAPP] organized several group outings before the season started for - according to the website - "alumni, parents, and friends" at five different Butler home games this year, the last of which is the Marquette game on 3/5.  Tickets are purchased through Ticketmaster using a promotional code.

So... if you consider yourself a "friend" of Butler (a "conference foe" is basically a "friend," right?), then you can either register (which is even more devious), or you can simply point your browser to https://oss.ticketmaster.com/aps/butler/EN/buy/browse, click the Marquette game link (click CONTINUE if a pop up box tells you the game is sold out), and enter the promo code ALUMNI5.  There are still about 100 tickets available in the upper portion of Section 305 as of this morning.  Granted, these aren't exactly the best seats in the house, but they're face value and there's even a discount for your kids' tickets (ages 2-12, I think).

The way I look at it, if Butler can't sell out their group tickets to the last home game of the year by the week of the game, then MU fans are doing them a favor by helping them buy up the remainder.  (At least that's how my conscience is justifying this.)
