The Providence game was an imperfect effort by a developing team. Anyone who isn't seeing the progress hasn't been watching. Wojo has been a patient, supportive educator and mentor. This team is just beginning to believe in what it can do. Freshman make more mistakes than upper classman, that you live with until they mature. Last night was fun, we came up on the right side of the score and we had to win that game three times t get the win! The good news is we did it this time. This team is gaining strength, don't be surprised if there is still some fun left in this season! I believe this is a top 30 team at this point and improving!

I agree up until the last sentence.   Because of the youth and inexperience, MU is not a top 30 team.   But they are getting better.   And it is entertaining.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

If our record got erased and we restarted the season starting with the Belmont game this weekend we would have probably won the Belmont, at Georgetown, and vs. DePaul games.  Unfortunately that's not how it goes.  But this team is starting to figure it out.  This team has the ability to beat Butler, Creighton x2, Georgetown, and DePaul down the stretch.  Unfortunately we also probably lose no less than 2 and no more than 4 of those.

The team is definitely improving and coming together better than the post-game thread reflects. There's just enough season left. I say let's beat Creighton Saturday night and take care of unfinished business @ DePaul on Wednesday. Then, and only then, the door opens a little bit and we *may* see the light of a 3-1 finish. But for now let's be happy that we have an opportunity for a big win Saturday and worry about the rest later.

As much negativity as many have for this team, I've enjoyed them.  Yes, there have been a few heart attacks and many times I've cursed the TV, but they are not a team most in the Big East wish to see in their bracket once the tournament starts.  The season doesn't re-start, but the finish will be exciting.  Good things to come!  Confidence brings success.

Stay faithful, my friends!

A program changing win for Wojo, staff and squad, IMO. They blew it a few times, but at the end of the day they came away with a huge win against a solid team. More importantly, they protected home court in Big East play which goes a long, long way.

Just win baby! The Warriors did last night. Saturday is HUGE.

Beat Creighton.
