Oregon Warrior

Should we offer this kid a ride? We need a PG and despite his size, he sounds pretty good. Has anyone seen him play? http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/highschool/ct-spt-0119-prep-bbk-simeon-fenwick-20160118-story.html

Still can't believe Deano didn't land Magette.  Of all the Fenwick kids you have to deal with at MU, Corey would have been worth it

I've seen him play a few times.  He is a very good high school player, and the leader on a team that is top 5 in Illinois with a couple of very impressive wins (in which he scored 38 and 32, I think), including over Simeon.  However, there is a reason he has no major offers and little interest. Destroyed in the second half by Morgan Park guards aggressive D.  And it isn't as if he is new to the scene- he is a 4 year varsity player.   Short point guards need Elise quickness, I think, and he doesn't have it.  He'll make a fine Ivy/Patriot league player.
