Why was that one thread locked

It seemed pretty harmless. I mean, it's not like anyone in that thread hinted some posters were homosexuals as has happened before.

It was locked because it had degenerated into a bunch of useless back-and-forth bickering well off-topic.  Further it all started from pure speculation that was equally worthless.  Feel free to do such one-up-manship typing in PMs if the need is felt.  Some back-and-forth is fine but when it gets to discussion of whether someone is a "credible poster" what's the point.  That thread hurt my brain trying to follow it all.    I was about to lock it myself before Rocky beat me to it.

What the heck.. I'll lock this one instead   (PM one of us mods if you need any further clarification)
