What's the deal with a YouTube link like this:

It doesn't play, but in the notes section there is a link. I go there and it seems that I need to sign up / complete a survey / stuff like that. Seemed harmless but could never get through it to watch. Anyone know whether these kinds of live youtube links can work?

Not an option for me. My housing is provided for me by my job and I get no say in the television provider. Called every sports bar in a 20 mile radius, not one of them had any of the channels (or were too impatient or incompetent to find it)

Providers don't determine the rights....the rights owners do.  You're blaming the wrong entities.    ::)
