Is Directv's "Sports Pack" the over-all best way for a west coast fan to maximize his MU viewing this season?

Thanks in advance.
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

If you want to see every game... Then yes.  Otherwise I would say 90% of the games will be on Foxsports 1 which is part of your basic package with Directv.

IMO, yes.  You won't miss a game that way, and if you like watching CBB beyond just MU, every televised game across the nation is at your fingertips.  It is the best $12/month I spend during CBB season. It is college basketball junkie's dream.

5 games are on FS regional networks this year.  All the rest are on either FS1/2, CBSSN, FOX or ESPN.  So technically, you'd only miss 5 games without the sports pack, but for me, its worth it cause I watch a bunch of CBB, and not having to stress out about finding some stream for the other 5 games makes it an easy decision.

I haven't tried this, but I bet you could activate / cancel the sportspack the day before and the day after the MU games you need it for.  DTV may catch on, but I used to do this a few years back on TWC when I lived in Milwaukee to watch UofM hockey games.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.
