I was in Radio Doctors back around 85-86.    A bunch of New Jersey Nets walked in, wearing their team sweats and checking out the store.   Kelvin Ransey, Micheal Ray Richardson, Buck Williams walk through the door.   Then.... Darryl Dawkins.   Absolutely mammoth.   The largest person I had ever seen in my life up close up to that point.    I had chatted with Rod Grosse and Roman Mueller a bit around campus, but they were twigs in comparison to this absolute behemoth.   It was difficult to not stare.     RIP, Chocolate Thunder.

Dad told me they could have really hurt eachother if they let that fight go. One of the biggest and one of the meanest dudes in the NBA. Not like fights nowadays.
