Jimbo,

Hope you enjoyed the game.  I am sure you made some nice friends with those Dukies!

Nice to see. If the new guys hit the ground running, an NCAA berth is entirely possible.

I'm cautiously optimistic about MU's chances. But I tend to think it will be the season after next.

Way to high expectations, lets see who shows up first. 2 of our recruits first have to sign this month before anything
is set to begin, and then hopefully they all get to Miltown about the same time this summer! It would also be sweet
if we could get a grad transfer or a rent-a -player!

Carter and Anim are both thrilled to be coming to Marquette. They will both be here.

I don't think he was implying that they might not sign.

Just stating the fact that first things first...making it official.

We have a lot to still take care of before focusing on being the biggest turnaround.

Look at the last place team at every other major conference and tell me we aren't poised to make the biggest turnaround.

Lmao. That isn't the requirement to being the biggest tournaround. Did you even read article?

Also, I didnt say we wouldn't be anyways. So idk why you are quoting and tell me to look in the first place.

By definition, you have to start pretty low to be able to make the biggest turnaround.  Its not bloody likely that Villanova would even remotely in the running, now, is it?   Or any other team that already made the NCAA tournament this year.

a) you had made the most recent previous post.
b) you seemed to dispute that we could be considered the biggest turnaround by conditioning it on your claim that we "have a lot to still take care of" before that might happen.

It sure seemed like you were disputing the claim that we can't be considered a turnaround prospect without "a lot to still take care of".

I'm curious, who would you say is poised to make a bigger turnaround right now?

I was literally clarifying for one poster what another posters comments meant. Like a little reading comprehension goes a long way.

If you read the article the prediction is that we make the tourney. It is too early for that. I personally think we will. But our roster isn't even set in stone yet.

Saying that you have to be in last for the biggest turn around is just moronic. A team like Maryland this year had a HUGE turn around. Going from not in the tourney to a 3 seed. They didn't have to be last.

Maybe we do end up with a better season than the ACC last place team. But what about their 11th place for example? That's still a big turn around if they go on to have a better season.

It's like you were looking for an argument that didn't exist and in the process used illogical reasoning.

Yeah me too, especially Anim. My buddy is HS coach in one of the suburban conferences. FWIW, he thinks Anim will make an impact year 1. Can't believe he's not ranked higher. Great two way player who can score.

He reminds me a bit of Shayok. The kid that has a high motor and plays really high-level defense that scores when he is called on to do so. Just not touted much. I think he has a really nice glue-guy role out of the gate--especially with defense as such a Wojo focus.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

By Myron Metcalf, don't mean a thing. He's mostly wrong and rarely does his homework.
