I think so.  I know it was mentioned in the preseason that those were for special occasions.  I think this counts.

I can't wait. I get to start my early Thanksgiving drinking with some late night MU hoops tommorow night. I'm so pumped up folks. Plus, it's not just an ordinary game against a lowly team. It's the championship game of the Maui tourney on national t.v. What a great thing for the MU program to be part of.

Considering the early success in the game did not appear to affect him later in the game, I would say no. He seemed to take a lot of good shots and didn't really force too much.  If he shoots like that early, I'm ok with him continuing to shoot if they keep falling. It's once he starts missing and continues to throw up shots that I get annoyed.

In the article Jerel talks about how the team recieved new warmups last year for the DePaul game.  After the loss they never saw them again.

I'm sure Crean will bring out the baby blues tonight but knowing how supersistious he is I'm guessing there will be some hesitation! 

If we lose with them will we ever see them again?
