Have not posted for a long time due to the derrick/dawson board takeover....so, I will just say this....as disappointed as I am about the outcome of the game today....no way...no way we should have dropped that one....enjoy it now big east fellows and MU bashers.   It will be for a short year of transition (two if you count last year of underachievement).   New coach, 8 players on the roster, youth only going to get better and a top tier recruiting class...this year was meant to be one of transition and there will be ups and downs (frankly, I expected more downs but got my hopes up with the last few games) so enjoy the ride as frustrating as the lows may be (like losing to DePaul when we clearly should have won) because the thunder is on the horizon and the storm of MU hoops under Wojo is our new reality.

So...for all the bashers...for all the Big East detractors...for all the Big East rivals who will cherish beating up on MU for the short term...enjoy your short ride....it is over next year.   Happy 2015 MU faithful...this year ushers in an era we should not fear but celebrate.....it is happening...the signs are there..through the pain and frustration of individual games in this season we can see what lies ahead of us...keep the faith...ring out ahoya!...and enjoy the journey.

Exactly right...this is the transition year.  All this post-loss bashing of Wojo and his players accomplishes nothing.  Appreciate the progress, and have a little patience when the team stumbles.  It won't be long before Wojo gets his own players here...then watch out!  In the meantime, let's build a little goodwill with our new coach.
