The Hall

Just upset the #15 Johnnies (11-2).

Did Seton Hall (11-2) just earn itself a spot in next week's Top 25?

If Georgetown and Nova hold serve, does the Big East get 4 teams in next week?

Its going to be tough!

I remember way back Jud Heathcoate calling the BigTen schedule the Meat-Grinder because they all beat each other up record-wise.

Big East is going to be a Meat-Grinder...I don't think Villanova goes unscathed. at least 2-3 losses for them.
As for MU, every week is going to be tough. If we go 11-7 it will be earned.

Hard to say, hope so. Johnnie's have the talent but not the discipline. If they go behind panic sets in quickly.  SH is about equal to the Johnnie's except they don't panic and miss easy lay-ups like the Johnnie's. All, good for the BE and Marquette if we can pull out some wins.

Let's see if Butler can give 'Nova a run. They are better than the preseason predictions but they are playing 'Nova.

St. John's is quick and very athletic but clueless with the ball. And Harrison may be the league's biggest punk. Very hateable team.

Kind of a nice day for FS I'm getting college bball eyeballs. 3 out of the 9 games involving top 25 teams are on the channel. Of course 80 percent of sports fans will be watching college football....

I think 11-7 is a huge stretch, and might be unreasonable at this point.  There are only a couple easy wins on the schedule.

The spread was a pick'em. Seton Hall host Villanova this Saturday.

Six Big East schools in the top 50 of the RPI is on FS1!

It will be a gigantic stretch if we lose today to a pathetic DePaul team.

I agree - more of a borderline top 25 team.

I didn't see today's game as an upset - not when it is at SH.

Wow, imagine their fan boards right now...they must be salivating at the idea of finishing the first week of the BEast season at 2-0. Rightly excited, I'd say.

SHU is tough to peg.  Only real test was at Wichita State (played close).  Beat some ok teams (Ill State, GW), got smoked at Georgia.  Whitehead out.  Guess we'll figure them out in the next couple weeks.

The Hall played without Whitehead. Really showed how good their other freshman are. They have the makings of being a good team for some time.
