Playing for bronze
« on: November 28, 2014, 10:30:08 PM »
Sunday's game against a solid Tennessee team is critically important for our young Warriors.  A win means that we had a very successful weekend and have moved light years past where we were only a week ago.  Fire up Marquette nation.

Agreed,2-1 would be a very successful tournament, especially with all three games against power conference teams (even if their not the best in their conference).

Would be extremely pleased with 3rd place and a victory over the Vols.

Homer has said about four times on the post-game show that the game is tomorrow...someone should clue him in.

Glad to get the extra day. We're basically playing 7. Tomorrow rest and a little Disney. Some film on UT after that.

Maybe that's why Cubillan is back with the team.

bingo!

2-1 is as good as we could get without winning.

Now accepting banner designs.  Unveiling Saturday - the 3rd Place banner will surely instill fear into the Badgers.

Even though they aren't the best teams in their conferences it makes me feel a lot better beating other high major teams.  Certainly will do better than 1-17 like kenpom had us after Omaha

Podium finish!

On another thread I saw some discussion about March.  Unlike last year when it was a slow 'bleed to death' to oblivion, I'm going to try to stay in the moment.  We just had a GREAT weekend.  Young players emerged.  Izzo said that we're the toughest team.  Wojo told his Senior co-captain to freakin' suck it up and then told his other Senior co-captain to go make his freakin' free throws, all after he put his fist through a wall (okay, white board).

Win every day.
