Haven't heard a lot names. Might Wojo pull in one more?

If not, I'm more than thrilled with this class.

I would speculate that they will hold the last schollie and look for another Carlino/Lockett type.   Taylor is the only junior (ha!) on this year's roster.   Try to find an experience combo guard for next year's team to help ease the transition.

I betting Spring.  Late bloomer (we've done well in the past), transfer, or Juco.  I would be very surprised to see another signing this fall.

And just to clarify, do we have an available scholly for 14-15 right now or do the transfers out earlier this fall still count against us?

We have Tood Mayo's scholl is I think right?

Actually, it would be Gabe Levin's

Davon Dillard, Melvin Frazier, Marcus LoVett, and Deshawn Freeman are the four names I have heard. If we get one of them, it will be in the spring. Good chance of saving it in case of a quality transfer or graduate transfer. Saving it to the spring makes a lot of sense, gives us a chance to see what we've got, what we need, and what the recruits can give us. Not to mention the fact that we might lose some players we don't expect.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

GGGG

Wojo is undoubtedly holding it for spring.  There will be multiple options at that point...new freshman, graduate transfer, regular transfer, Juco...

Big Daddy 84

Wojo is focused on the season now and not recruiting.  Word is DD is still a Purdue lean, but after two down seasons wants to see how they do this year and also how Wojo does as a coach.

Also to ruin the Badgers day more.  DS is about as likely to go to UW as Jay Cutler is to being elected captain of the Bears for next season.

Are you for real?  You accuse 'most' of not being satisfied with our current recruits and obsessing over Diamond Stone because we had a little fun guessing what Stone's next move might be?  Then somehow you drew the conclusion that we must also have an obsession of UW, why-  because they are recruiting Stone???   Yet, here you are a few short hours later asking who our next recruit might be?  Lol.
Carry on.... I get it.

No matter what direction we go , I would like to see us sign a a tough rebounding specialist. It is the one thing we are missing.

Did you fall on your head? I asked who MU may sign...Not where Stone may go or who is signing with UW.

Perhaps you missed the part where I say I'm thrilled with this current class as is.

I guess reading comprehensive isn't your strong suit.

So there's a chance?
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

According to this here, Dillard will wait until the spring to commit. He doesn't mention either MU or Purdue as the schools he's hearing from.

So, we can't speculate on Stone (who many of us have seen play and has direct ties to MU), but it is ok to speculate about other players (who many have not seen play and have no direct ties to MU)?
Furthermore, speculating about Stone makes one obsessive of Stone and, by association, UW.  While speculating about others is encouraged?
Perhaps I did fall on my head, because your logic is hard to follow!

Here's the issue...Stone was never coming to Marquette, and even if you want to believe that when he was showing up to Marquette games that he was interested at that time, that's fine, but he told the world he is no longer interested in Marquette when he dropped Marquette from his list after narrowing it down to 5 schools and Marquette was not on that list.  Move along, he's not coming and he never was.

If Cutler is still on the Bears next season, I find it hard to believe he won't be a captain. In the NFL, a veteran QB almost always is one of his team's captains, whether he deserves it or not.

OK, enough with what probably should be a Superbar topic (not the thread, but my comment here). Back to our regularly schedule programming of "obsessing" about Diamond Stone.

Yea! A new game! Let's see how many times we can squeeze "obsess" in a post!

The fun never stops on this site. ::)
