The Week In Scoop
« on: August 11, 2014, 02:09:37 PM »
What did I miss?

---------------

O'Bannon ruling means the end of college sports as we know it.  Enjoy the last few years of college basketball

Power 5 ruling ... see above

MU playing in the AL on December 19 ... proof the program in in permanent decline.

Todd Mayo left ... the program is doomed

Jimmy Whitt vising Sept 5 to 7 ... since we are not his last visit, why bother he will never committ

Diamond Stone is not coming

Henry Ellenson is not coming

The Big East is a mid-major conference

We always lose on national TV

Gabe Levin ... the second coming of Dan Fitzgerald

Though, there is room for concern as things unfold.

I hate lists like this...how lazy has our fan base become that we can't even add a bullet point!

I missed the thread on Ellenson not coming. Whoever it was might end up being right, but the smart money is on him coming here
TAMU

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Well, there always is Fantasy Football to talk about--or the politically correct ESPN suspending another analyst out in LA who said he hit his girl friend when in college over 20 years ago, and who has been married to the gal for over 20 years. It is always good to know that ESPN is the be all judge for the 21st century.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind.

Thanks Heisenberg.  I've been away for a few weeks--now I don't have to dig through all the minutiae to get to what I missed.  :)
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.
