So you think "very interested" and "hesitant" mean the same thing?

No. Purdue (a decidedly non elite) has offered. Indiana and MSU (near elites) are very interested but to this point they have not offered. Right now they are hesitating (ergo hesitant) regarding an offer. Elites (Duke, UNC, Kentucky, Kansas)? No mention that they're even remotely interested at this point.

So let me get this straight.  You think guys with "low basketball IQ" are "the kind of guy we have to get to really compete at the highest level."?

[/quote]

No. What I think is Chicos would be averse to recruiting anyone with the perception of a low basketball IQ, at least if our previous coach was recruiting him. He's be OK if it was Crean. Don't know how he'll feel about Wojo.

Me? If the talent is truly elite, I say if our coach (whoever it is) thinks it's worth the chance so do I.
