Former Boston University point guard Maurice Watson, Jr. made waves in the transfer market when he announced earlier this week that he intended to leave the program.

The sophomore has made his decision, as he tweeted on Sunday afternoon.

He'll join Greg McDermott and the Creighton Bluejays.

The speedy point guard out of Philadelphia cracked ESPN's Top 100 prior to coming to Boston University, scoring more points (2,356) over the course of his career in the Philadelphia Public League than Wilt Chamberlain (2,206).

In his sophomore season at BU, Watson averaged 13.3 points and 7.1 assists per game and was named to the Patriot League first team.

He'll have to sit out the 2014-15 season due to transfer rules, which should also help ease his transition into the more competitive Big East conference.
