Let's assume we lose Pierce. Even though a project, he's still a big body. W/o him, we're left w/just 2 legitimate bigs: Taylor & Fischer (not available until 2nd semester). No way can we afford to go into next season w/that thin of a frontline. If that's not bad enough, where's Wojo going to pick up a decent big or 2 to fill out the '14 class? Most, if not all, of the serviceable high school bigs have been been picked over by now, the Juco route is seemingly not an option at MU anymore, and there's currently a scarcity of graduate student bigs available.

Is this still true?  Maybe I missed something, but I thought this was something out of the Pilarz/Larry Williams regime.  And, even if, wasn't Jameel McKay a JUCO last year?

Now, who knows (1) whether Wojo would look at JUCOs, (2) there are any decent unsigned JUCOs available.  But, in theory, I don't see why this isn't still an option, at least.

Otule isn't coming back for a 7th year?

Tums Festival

If Pierce still ends up at MU how many minutes can he honestly be counted on? Fischer was averaging 10 minutes a game for I4 before he transferred and I think it's safe to say he's the more talented of the two.

He probably doesn't want to play for a coach that is younger than him.

One player MU could look at in the class of 2014 is Tariq Owens. He's a 6'9",  3/4-star recruit who is de-committing from Ohio. A bit on the thin side, but seems to have potential, given that he also had offers from G'Town and VCU.

I googled around a bit.  He seems to play "long." The vids are hard to tell, but, if he had offers from G'Town and VCU, he probably has decent footwork. And, if Wojo wants to play an up and down game, he might fit in well with that.

Guess we will just have to get a 2015 impact big

TAMU, Knower of Ball

We could look at Malcom Rhett, 6"8 225 graduate senior from Tennessee State. He averaged near a double double last season.

Desmond Simmons is a 6"8 220 graduate from Washington. Didn't do much but the there a few transfer options at this point.

Wasn't there a graduate with 1 year left that Buzz was in on before he left.

Texas Western

I am sure getting another big man is high on the list right now. Even if Satchel Paige stayed he would only be getting minutes against the cupcakes. he is a project.  A graduate senior would be the best route as they would only be here for a year . Some one should post the scholarship table again as we may be close to our limit.

Anthony Lee from Temple.  He is going to Ohio State.

GB Warrior

Maybe Jabari Parker wants to give Milwaukee a trial run before getting drafted by the Bucks in 2015.

But really. I think graduate senior might be the way to go. Hopefully instant leadership and bridge the gap.

Excellent work by putting Frontline in parentheses.  It gave the thread a sense of professionalism like the investigative news show on PBS.  You definitely sucked me in and got a laugh out of me.

Does Mbao have any eligibility left?

That guy could barely screw a light bulb in.
