With the Otule commitment, MU moves up from the #25 recruiting class to the #14 recruiting class in the nation.  His way of doing it is a bit strange, but it's still nice to see.

encouraging........will be interesting to see if Otule moves up the ladder if he performs well this season

I agree that the way he does it is strange.  I think the talent rating average would be much better.

MuMark

I agree its nice to see but its hard to put much stock in a ranking system which basically says there is no difference between a player ranked 105 and one ranked 295.

If that is indeed the case why bother to even do rankings?

Harrison

While I agree that he needs to make a syssyem that offers a difference between 105 and 295 maybe a cut off at 150 and then another category for 151-300?  But what I really do like about his sytem is how it differentiates the top levels.  his 10 point guys and even the 9's are worth 20% more than his 8's and significantly more than his 6's.  I think that is dead on.  there is a tremendous differnce of the OJ mayo's and lebron James's Kobe's even  the Patrick Patterson's fo the other night for Kentucky and a guy ranked #75.  Clark's system gives a bonus to those guys as they have the ability to take a team over the top.
