It is a game that VCU fans play.  One of them takes the handle to the message boards of teams rumored to be in the hunt for Shaka and then stirs the pot.


Note: The twitter handle was created yesterday and he has like 8 followers.  Brent duped us all once, don't be a bunch of dupesticks

I don't think it's standard practice of VCU fans. They find this guy entertaining, and we probably would too.  

But yes, troll. Remember the everlasting craptastic SMU thread from a year ago? VCUInsider started the Minnesota equivalent of that by informing Golden Gopher fans Shaka would be their next coach.

What's hilarious about this clown is that he seems so certain that Smart would never leave VCU--like it's a destination blue blood program. I really don't get why he does it. Enlighten me, VCUInsider!

If you're already a big enough VCU fan that you're posting on your own message boards, and your coach is brought up often enough in the offseason that you're having to consistently check other team's message boards, then you might as well make an account on the other team's message boards and drop bombs on them.

How many of our serial posters have accounts on other team's message boards just to throw stones? It's not that far of a leap to start providing BS insider information.

I find it hilarious. Plus he's spending enough time to think up a play-by-play? I appreciate his dedication!
