Buzz left the new Big East, not MU

Buzz stays if the conference doesn't implode.

He saw that the new Big East is a losing proposition and that was that.  Well, that and having the buyout now down to almost nothing.

It will be funny now when everyone comes out with their Buzz Williams stories that will curl your hair.  He had almost no real friends at MU, and never made the effort to make any.  He didn't care for the alumni or the students, and never pretended otherwise.

And anyone who ever spent any real time with the guy knows he is a very odd, eccentric man.
