I know that there is a lot of disappointment tonight and most of the season.  But to let the end of this season go without some positive would be wrong too:

1) Chris  thanks for your 6 years at MU and your dedication.  You are not Patrick Ewing, but you are a extremely classy and Godly man.  Best wishes to you and the rest of your life and you define the heart of a "warrior".

2) Jamil   Best wishes to you and I know your Mom will be smiling from above when you graduate in May.  I will always remember your key shots at the end of the Davidson game.

3) Jake - I appreciate your effort and your heart and you will be a success in the future because of your desire to succeed. You are truly one of the nicest young men I have met and a favorite of my wife.

4) Davante-  I will miss you the most..the dancing bear...automatic...you have come so far from that Freshman whose favorite snack was a box of donuts.  You are a man of faith you have a loving family. I know you think you are a point guard at heart.. I know your Mom and Dad are looking forward to seeing you graduate in May.  2 Sweet 16s and a elite 8. What a great career...future low post players at MU will be compared against you for many years to come.

Thank you seniors.... all 4 will have degrees. True student scholars.

Can we as a group please be grateful for these 4 and there accomplishments on and off the court.

Go Warriors!!!!

Very nicely put! I don't think it set in that our season is over until I read this.

Thank you, Big Daddy, for a classy and well deserved post.

Thanks seniors, and don't be strangers!
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Thanks for all of your hard work and effort, fellas--you all did a great job of representing Marquette University.  Jake, Chris, Davante, Jamil, and Dylan (someone said he won't be back next season), good luck and may God bless all of you in whatever the future brings.

MUCam

We may be disappointed in this season, but we cannot be disappointed in the representatives that Buzz continues to turn out. I am proud to share my alma mater with these young men, and as with all Marquette alumni, I will not hesitate to assist any one of them should I be in a position to be able to.

Congrats on your degrees, gents. Thanks for the good years.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Best of luck to you all in your post graduation endeavors. Chris, I would love to see you stick around the Marquette program and help develop our incoming big men.

Thought the same thing. He belongs as a lifer around the Marquette program.

Agree with the original posters sentiments.  Will miss each of these guys for different reasons.  Really feel bad it didn't work out better for them their senior year...but on the whole...these 4 have accomplished/achieved more at MU the past 3 years than have any others since the 1970s.

Best wishes to all of them as they move forward in their life.  May they find happiness/success in whatever they pursue on the court or off the court.

I'm most proud that all will graduate in May. Basketball is a short span in a lifetime for most  and developing young men of character who are prepared to succeed in life makes me proud of my alma mater.  I wish them nothing but the best in the future. God Bless!

If Chris Otule is graduating in May, it'll be for the second time.  Since most grad degrees are two year ones, I guessing that that is probably the case.

I doubt that Jake will be graduating again so soon, since he just got his undergrad degree last May.

On top of all that was said before I'd like to thank Jake for that epic 4 point play against the Cuse a year ago that really turned that game around and gave us a boost for the rest of the season. One of the most electric moments I have ever been apart of at a basketball game!

Thanks Jamil for trying to catch the Bradley Center bat with towels.

Chris, your hands are so big, one could totally encapsulate my head. Better than that though, your heart is even bigger. One of the nicest guys I have ever met!

Davante, you are a beast, and I probably will never have the privilege of seeing the unique style of ball that you play in another big guy again. It has been an honor.

The guys look great but one thing they should learn - cuffs. Always cuff your trousers.

Thanks Seniors for a wonderful four years. This year had its ups and downs, but you left it out there. Good luck in whatever you do.

If you put the kind of effort you gave to MU into your dreams, you will be a success in life.

Thank you for representing our university with class!!!

Bob
