really did a fantastic job on lebron today. lebron had more TOs than FGs when Jimmy was guarding him

Noah and Butler are carrying the Bulls.

Thibs deserves some coach of the year votes. and Noah some MVP votes

Easy now....easy. LOL.

Loved what Jimmy did at the end of regulation.

Would I be a jag to say that I'd have rather he done that to Pondexter back in 2010?

Saw the last few minutes and overtime.  JFB stripped the ball from Lebron on what would have been the gamewinning layup in reg.  Announcers gave Jimmy lots of props (and mentioned Marquette); Noah also gave Jimmy a lot of love in his postgame interview.

🏀

Noah already has MVP votes coming.

Good answers, honoring both, but also acknowledging how one stepped up more than the other.

JFB is a junkyard dog who learned to finesse his game. He could be found around the hoop and not shooting 17 ft jumpers.

they were more well-rounded, played solid defense, and everyone was a potent offensive force (pretty much).

Exactly why they drafted him. Unfortunately for the Bulls, this was a meaningless regular season game. The Heat's season doesn't actually start for another month or so.

Mutaman

Seem to recall a lot of folks were convinced that Noah would never make it through his first NBA training camp. Bulls are an easy team to root for.

I fully admit I was on that list. My dad and I were floored when they drafted him so early. Glad we were wrong and theres a reason were not in management. ::)

Logi4three

For those who missed it, beyond doing his great (normal) job of defense, Jimmy F'n Butler (or Jimmy Buckets depending on your persuasion) stripped LeBron on his attempted game winning drive sending the game to OT...

... and then got into it with LeBron in overtime resulting in LeBron hooking Jimmy's leg to pull him down and Jimmy introducing LeBron to his new pair of shoes (and both being T-ed up for the exchange)...

Intersting. Most of JFB's senior season, people lamented that we had "no heart" and had a leadership void without Lazar. Then we made a nice run in March and the script was flipped.

Any questions about JFB should have been thrown out of the window after he drained that game-winner at Carnesecca... but hey, this is MUScoop.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

I never questioned him, but people talked non-stop about how no one was yelling on the court like Lazar, as if there's no other way to lead.

Or the game winner at UCONN that year, in a game that Lazar had fouled out of.
