Everyone can agree Todd's game against Providence was his best in MU uniform.  He started quite slowly in that game, but Buzz kept riding him.  It paid off.  Was really sad to see the extreme tick tack fouls called on those 3-balls from corner as it was a stain on what was otherwise a brilliant performance.  The all out hustle was there, rebounding, and assisting.

Here is updated comparison between Todd this year and Vander last year...I know some like to say how much better Vander was...but it simply isn't the case...and Vander had the benefit of playing alongside a much better PG...

I for one am really excited to see what Todd does next year--assuming he doesn't go all Kemba Walker on us in the BE Tourney and beyond. (No need for serious respones to that last thought)

Agreed. But while the second foul was tick tack, he absolutely hammered Fortune on the first one.

Todd Mayo's best game?  Maybe statistically.  Todd turned the ball over twice at the end of the game and then proceeded to foul Fortune for a 4 point play.  He lost MU that game twice and won it once.

Of course no player ever commits a turnover or fouls shooters...takeaway Todd and where are we in that game??  Run out of the gym. Take him off team..and his Vander like production..where is this team?!

Wow... MAYO lost MU that game? You sh*ttin' me? 26 & 11 with a 117 ORtg? THAT guy lost us the game? You're joking, right dude?

While I'm not happy about the fouls on the two three point attempts, I can say I'm happy that at least one of our players closes out on a shooter from beyond the arc.

It's hard to foul a 3PA when you don't close out like the rest of our team.  Basing my decision solely on the number of attempted and made three point FGs against this year's Marquette team I would've gladly seen a few more fouls on three point shots throughout the season if it meant we at least closed out like Mayo did against Providence.
Shut this board down at the opening tip.  If they win, open it back up.  If they lose, keep it shut it down until the next morning.  - Sultan of Slurpery

Some people on this board....I swear. I think a lot of people just hate Todd unconditionally now. I, for one, think he's been spectacular lately.

At least a couple of 4 3PA fouls looked like the old "I'm not gonna land on my feet" trick by the shooter.  FS1's camerawork was so poor on them that I couldn't make a decision.  Granted MU obviously got the same benefit on the one Todd got fouled on.

Then how many times did Wilson lose it for us?

I had the same thought, and never got the replays I wanted. And it wasn't just the threes, there were multiple times where I wanted to see something again and they showed a play (usually a Providence bucket) from a couple minutes before.
