This could be a blessing...

If we had beaten Providence and Providence loses at Creighton over the weekend (they'll get their doors blown off), they would have finished 9-9, and then St. John's beats us on Saturday, then St. Johns would have finished fourth and MU fifth--not a great match-up.

As it stands, if we beat SJU on Saturday then we're likely facing Providence again at the Garden to extract some revenge. Actually, regardless of what happens now, we're not playing St. Johns at the Garden. Whoever loses is the 6 seed (SJU could be the #7 seed).
