Line came out last night with MU -7.  As down on MU as I've been most of the year, still feel this is a lock of a bet.  DePaul has been getting beat quite handily since Cleveland Melvin and his 16.5ppg and 7rpg left the team.  Rosemont becomes like a home game for MU.  Would be pretty surprised if we don't cover.

Good point...as I recall the game a few years ago we lost at the buzzer....but...still think DePaul is so depleted this year that we should win by more than 7....

Absolutely zero excuse for MU to lose to this Grade school team today. Let alone not win by 7 or more. If you can't hammer DuhPaul this time of year, they should automatically not allow you in the tournament, just on that basis.

Just feel with Melvin gone, and the way DePaul has been getting hammered of late by other teams (I've bet against them every game since Melvin's departure and its been a very nice winning strategy), but as has been pointed out - There probably is no such thing as a lock with this year's MU team.

But...we did beat Seton Hall and Georgetown by more than 7 on the road....

Rat - I'm a huge Buzz fan...always have been...and virtually any who have posted here for more than 1 year know that.  Is it not possible to be a huge fan of a coach, but not have a philosophical disagreement with decision(s) he makes??  Every coach at every level gets 2nd guessed...just part of what comes along with the profession.

But, I don't feel this game at DePaul should have ever come down to Overtime, or anything less than a 10 point victory based on DePaul being down Melvin.  Nova just blew them out by 26 at home...Xavier had them down by 28 at one point the other night (granted it was at X)...but DePaul hasn't been in a game since Melvin went down.  I've bet heavily against DePaul ever since Melvin's departure, and today was the first time I lost...of course it should come as no surprise it was MU that let me down this game..as they have this year.

Still love Buzz, love the program, love watching the games...even if I get totally annoyed at times...
