Give Buzz a little more credit. If the roster contains a healthy, talented point guard next season, freshman or otherwise, Derrick becomes a reserve. Which is where he belongs.

Buzz proved against GTown that he is willing to play Derrick only 12 minutes if there is a competent PG on the floor.

Then again, Buzz barely gave Dawson a chance just a few days later, which still has me scratchin' my head.

I totally agree with the poster who says there will be plenty of minutes for this season's freshmen in 2014-15 ... unless they prove to be not as good as next season's freshmen!

Dawson didn't play to Buzz's obvious gameplan early, which gave him the hook.

Also, I really do think zone vs. man D had something to do with it.

Not to score? Huh? Gardner scored a ton yesterday. It was working ridiculously well. It's what Buzz wanted.

Dawsons first appearance in the game lasted 5 possesions. The only one we didn't score on was when Dawson himself missed that point blank runner.

So close to perfect offense and he didn't meet the game plan?
