No doubt... and Pat "Double T" D.  Didn't the coaches have some say in refs that absolutely should not be brought along into the new league?

With little more than anecdotal evidence I whole heartedly agree, he blows

Knew we were in for more of this sh*t when John Cahill was named head of officials.

personal fouls xavier-16, marq-28   foul shots-xavier-41, marq-13.  if ya ever get a chance, check out jim burrs stats sheet, they are very revealing.  all i know is that against us, he officiates like he was molested by a catholic priest when he was an alterboy and takes his hate out on us,  either that of he's an athiest

Damn, you just beat me to it.  "At ND we liked to play with officials biased against us because it built character."
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Well, both schools are Jesuit, so it wouldn't explain last night.

MU played the whole game on the perimeter on offense, Xavier attacked and also got all the boards down low.  That explains most of the foul disparity. There is no conspiracy against MU.

Our players should take a lesson from the Dominic James School of Playing In Games Officiated by Jim Burr.

I don't think I saw a game from 2005-2009 officiated by Burr where Dominic didn't have his arm around him, pat his behind, share a laugh, etc.  And Dominic got some pretty favorable calls from Burr as I recall.  Coincidence?
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

When you give up that many offensive rebounds, eventually you are going to get called for fouls.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.
