Let's Go Warriors

Than Watching MU play offense this season.

You watch Virginia v UW.  Ouch, my eyes hurt!  UW with at least 8 airballs.
Warrior As defined by Webster's:

I love the egos that are building off of this 9-0 start...It will make it that much better when they lose in the first round again...

Marquette's 1998 team was ranked after starting the year 10-0 then played sub-500 ball the rest of the year en route losing in the NIT. Nov-Dec results are not always indicative. Either way.

While I really hope we beat UW, I just don't see it happening this year.

Kudos on your start, but remember, it is how the season ends that counts.

I dislike UW-Madison as much as the next guy, but their 9-0 is pretty impressive.

It's not like they're 9-0 against Little Sisters of the Poor.

UW is a good team. Normally they do not have enough offensive firepower to beat teams, this year they do.  Frank has been amazing, better than expected and the rest of the crew is solid
not flashy by any means.  Last night was the best I have seen them play D against a really challenged offensive team like Virginia.  They were horrible in there building and that really tells me how good UW is. UW is excellent at home and they convert a great deal of 3's on there court.  MU is much more athletic than they are but does not mean they are good basketball players.  Not sure how they will guard Gardner or for that matter, guarding JWilson and Burton on the floor as well.  It should be an interesting game, can MU score 60, they have a chance.
But I see UW hitting lots of threes.

You could have stopped with your first sentence. I don't know where you get the perception that they normally don't have enough offensive firepower to beat teams. They have been a very good program, capable of beating just about anyone, for over a decade now.

That stated, I think they will have their hands full with us.

I don't know, I see Buzz having the boys ready to play on Saturday. He'll have a week to prepare for the game--no traveling, game-planning for another match-up midweek. And perhaps, most importantly, we already have 3 losses, and usually when Buzz is backed into a corner (where he likes to start out--the preseason predictions were anathema to him, no doubt), he comes out firing. I just have a hard time seeing us with four losses this early on. And I think there's somewhat of a psychological advantage on our part in that we're hungry and Wisconsin is sitting pretty in the top 10 with an unblemished record. We'll see how UW does after a punch in the mouth. This could very well be MU's annual breakout game after the sky fell.
