A whole lot of pessimism on this board over the past week.  I have been far from impressed with the boys so far this season, but I have to hope that they will look much more polished this week.  If not, it could be a long one.  Let's hope they make some shots, and everything will look much better.  That needs to start tonight.

I'm coming in with low expectations, hoping to be surprised. I need some sort of hedge here or I am going to be pissed off and frustrated all winter.

The one ASU alum I know here at work was still reveling in their Pac 12 division title today.  He thinks MU wins, says ASU is decent, but not top 25 caliber.  I told him not to let the little 2 and the 5 next to our squad in the polls taint his view either, it's early.
