I decided to fork out the extra 50 for it this year and figured I'd see if anyone else did it or is currently doing it.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

🏀

If it was offered when I was in school, I'd be all over it.

Only makes sense to get more points.

It makes a lot of sense, if you plan on being a season ticket holder when you graduate.

You can get season tickets regardless after graduating. For me it did absolutely nothing. You get an extra shirt. Once you graduate you will look at a pile of 50 MU shirts...If you want another one then sure go for it. Either way though you can get season tickets.

It isn't a question of whether or not you can get season tickets. It helps with priority points, which determine when your re-seating time is. Better re-seating time equals better seats.

It essentially counts your student tickets as part of your consecutive years with tickets as long as you sign up right after graduating, right?

It's actually better than that. You keep the points indefinitely. 1 point/yr for $50 contribution, 2 points/yr for $100 contribution.

Basically the point total you can never lose can max at 18 rather than 10 with an undergrad degree. Wish they had that when I was in school.

However, I'm not sure if these donations count towards "total cumulative donation" points.

No reason why they wouldn't. It's money that you're donating. I mean, it's not even a full point of donation money once you get outside the current seating period, but it's still money.
