Shumpert on Campus

I was just over at the Spirit Shop in the AMU after class and TC came in with Iman Shumpert, another recruit (name is escaping me now), Dwight Burke, and two of the assistant coaches.  I overhead a bunch of the conversation and he was showing Iman all the Wade gear and telling him D Wade stories.  The two other coaches (Rab and Buzz) and DB were with the other recruit (taller guy with corn rows) and they let TC and Iman talk alone the whole time.  They were there for a good 20 minutes and it appeared TC was having some good conversation.  Let's make Madness crazy tomorrow night and get these guys here next year!

very well could have been swopshire...he's got the fro necessary for corn rows.  he is also on an offcial visit this weekend.  however, i heard that there are a few other recruits from 09 and possibly 2010 in on unofficials...

I don't remember who did that but it would be cool if he did at MM.

I see a lot of football recruiting articles where recruits say how impressed they are that a team's fans know who they are and how passionate they are about the recruit joining the program.  Hey it can't hurt for a few of you students and alums who will be at the game to chant the recruits' names and have some signs for them.  It can only help!!

Give me some names of people who have already recruited...I'm all about making a butt load of signs tomorrow night and I'll do this but i need a few updates about who has already committed and who we are after.  I know Swopshire and Iman but who else.  I'll make sure the student section is out in force tomorrow night with several signs for each person....INFO PLEASE!!!  (suggestions for signs, etc.)

Obviously this is far from actual "news", but take it for what it's worth. According to somebody affiliated with the program, Shumpert has revealed more about his decision than what's been reported. So apparently, Crean's not in the dark as to which school Shumpert will choose. Based on everything we've seen and heard this weekend, I have to assume that is very good news.
