I know people want to recruit a big but we may already have one for next year. After seeing him around campus so far this year he has definitely grown a couple of inches. He is now easily taller then Davante, (they always walk together) my guess is that hes now a solid 6'9" pushing 6'10"

Any idea why he's so against growing taller?

Gonna blame that one on auto correct.

Litehouse

Maybe they added some extensions in that knee surgery?

MattyWarrior

I had both knees replaced last year and gained a half-inch, could of used it elsewhere..

Wife agree?

Stretchdeltsig

Glad to hear Taylor has grown.  Hope he is listed on the roster at 6'9" this year.

So will Willie Warrior still be upset because he wasn't big enough when we recruited him?

But seriously great to hear, wonder if he'll end up playing some center next year or stick to power forward.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Or Buzz didn't want him to grow and he did it anyway.

Are you sure he wasn't a couple inches taller because of a walking boot?  I mean, he was seen... on campus... walking...

This. We want switchables. No bigs allowed.

Newsdreams

^Yep, wouldn't it be great to see Buzz subbing 5 switchables for 5 switchables during games, would probably confuse opposing team.  ;D

Or perhaps Gardner is shrinking.

Gardner did indeed appear to shrink horizontally.  Looked the thinnest I've ever seen him yesterday on campus.

I can't find the link, but I remember STjr saying he had grown to 6'9.    I also seem to recall McKay saying he was almost 6'10 in stocking feet, but again, I can't find the link.    Combining those two with Harris, Anderson, and Burton, and the 14-15 edition of MU will not be too small.

McKay is tall but still pretty skinny, so he will always be more suited for a PF. Burton is built like a bull though, definitely doesn't have a freshman body.

Galway Eagle

Saw McKay in the elevator today he definitely needs to put on some meat.  Looks like a taller version of Jamil

My point is that we will have two 6'9 guys, two 6'7 guys, and the oddity that is Deonte Burton up front.    It isn't huge, but compared to some teams Buzz has had at MU, it won't be petite.
