Great read, solid use of stats to back up your points (as usual)!

The news for me is that this year's money is partially guaranteed.  Might that mean that he can bounce between D League and NBA and be 'safe' from the dreaded January cut that would have locked DJO's $$ last year?

This has made me wonder about my conclusion that we would easily replace him in our lineup.

If the new JUCO plays like he did last year, we will. No disrespect to Trent.

Are you talking about Jameel? Because Jameel and Trent are much different players. The person who needs to fill the void left by Trent is Juan, in my opinion.

I think a lot of people are assuming Jamil Wilson moves to three and McKay plays at power forward. I think Wilson stays at 4 and McKay plays less than 5 minutes. Juan starts at 3.

Trent played the four because he had an anchored (solid) body. Juan is too "light in the a$$" to effectively play that position. It's Jameel's natural position. Also, Jameel gives us more back to the basket, post up offense.

McKay is a beast. I think he may not start right away, but he will be getting starter's minutes before conference play starts. Especially if Steve's injury holds him back at all.

I've got:

1: The D-Wils
2: Anderson (with JJJ/Mayo getting ample minutes)
3: J Wilson (with Burton getting decent minutes)
4: McKay (with Taylor getting ample minutes)
5: Oxtule

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

I agree with this. Lockett was much more of a perimeter player than Jameel will be.
