Good analysis.

But I don't think it is accurate to say that Steve Taylor's summer will be a "lost cause."  Unlike Juan and his shoulder, Taylor can still work out and shoot this summer.  Just can't play in games yet.

Also, I still consider Juan a forward, regardless of what Buzz says about him.

Yep.  He role will be similar to Lockett's ( tough not neary as many minutes ).  Lockett was an old-fashioned small forward and Juan is no different.  Buzz's terminology for the 3 makes it a guard position.  But, reality says otherwise.

If Gardner can build off that jumper he was hitting at the top of the key toward the end of the year, he can really open up the floor and drop some more dimes, which he showed flashes of last year.

We R Final Four

Agree-as long as they are not to an open De. Wilson under the basket.

Similarly, I have trouble seeing Burton as anything but a backcourt player. Doesn't it make more sense to think of him as a slasher/guard type who has the body to go inside than a dramatically undersized inside player?

Gardner must be allowed to use his ability to score away from the bucket. As he showed towards the end of the season, he's money at the elbow if allowed to shoot. It seemed he had been drilled to avoid that shot. Our coaches are smart and I presume they'll take advantage of G's options this year.

I don't think so. Deonte is everything.
