Interpret how you like.  Doesn't sound like MU is one of the Black's leaders according to this article.

"Kansas, Duke, Ohio State, Oregon, Vanderbilt, Florida State, Miami, and Minnesota are all in the picture according to CBS."

This is what I do not get. Some posters here were questioning whether there was an attitude problem with Black that MU should avoid. However, he apparently is talking to Duke and Kansas, so there cannot be a significant attitude problem. Somebody is always quick to post we do not want this transfer or that transfer, because...... Frankly, they should just shut up and wait to see who Buzz gets, if anyone.

Um, did you actually read the CBS article?  It mentions those schools as examples and says about 20 others are involved.  It is not a quote from Black and is clearly not an exclusive list.

I agree that we should see who Buzz brings in.

However, I was giving the same opinion that Rob Dauster of NBC/BIAH gave in the article stating, "Be wary."  Dauster is very tied into college hoops and his opinion is probably more informed that most of us.

What about Black has told you he'd be a Buzz-type player?

Sorry, they updated and expanded the Villanova article since I posted the link.  I edited the title and OP.

I don't expect to see Black because he really just doesn't fit our roster for one year. I realize he's an excellent player, but would pretty clearly be a 5 in Buzz's system, and probably 39/40 minutes are accounted for at that position next year. Black made sense when we first recruited him because we didn't have Gardner. With Gardner here and Otule back, there's no room for a guy who isn't a switchable or a guard.

Again, very good player, would have been a huge asset had he come here the first time around, but no longer has a slot in our rotation that I can see.

Wow, Kansas looks loaded now with Wiggnins and now Black on to it...

Whether there was an attitude problem or not at Memphis, a kid transferring for a last hurrah in college and a last chance to boost his pro stock has a lot of incentive to stick to the program and not be a headache.  Talent in that siutation is a good bet.
