A few months back, a poster on one of the Marquette boards emailed the Sam Houston st coach about Erik. If I remember correctly, the coach said things didn't work out/ he was no longer on the team.

That was me. I emailed the coach, told him I was a Marquette fan and asked what was going on with EW. Coach wrote back, saying EW had a ton of talent but sometimes things just don't work out. Cryptic yet telling. Too bad. EW should have torn up that league.

If he's that sad he oughta call Buzz and beg, beg, beg to be a counselor at camp this summer and start from there.  I'm not saying ever play for MU but managers get cash / schollies.  If he whiffed on the game, maybe he can still be around it.  Show Buzz he's reliable and maybe Buzz will help him get somewhere.  Never close a door.
