Bad timing to be cellar dwellars of the ACC.

They lost Woodall and Patterson as seniors.

Trey Zeigler left team today to transfer.

Steven Adams just declared for NBA draft.

Bye, bye and have fun.

Who or what the f#ck is Pitt?

brandx

Yeah - Adams is NBA ready. I see a Robert Swift-like career.

brewcity77

WTF...Zeigler just transferred in this year and Adams isn't remotely ready.

Pretty sure Patterson is back, though. Dante Taylor is the other senior.

Nukem2

Adams certainly needs another year....but, he does come from a family of 17 children. ( though he is the youngest ).

You are correct.  Taylor is gone, Patterson back.

Zeigler third school in three years, probably go to a Div II school to play next year.

NavinRJohnson

Right, Jamie Dizon routinely struggles with roster turnover.  ::)  They may struggle next year, but for some reason, I'm not terribly worried about them.

This is an example of why we shouldn't be sure Vander is coming back until the declare-for-NBA deadline has passed. Just because a guy needs another year in college doesn't mean he'll decide to play another year in college. And Vander is miles ahead of Adams.

Robert Swift earned more than $11MM in his playing career. He was recently evicted from his home in Sammamish. The house was a horror story. It was littered with dog sh1t, assault weapons, spent cartridges, empty beer containers, maggots in sinks, human feces on carpets, and a 5 gallon water jug in the bedroom filled with piss.

Kitchen littered with empties, cigarette butts, rotten food

Urine filled jug was in bedroom

Vomit in sink now home to maggots

Raw sewage feeds microbial life forms

More empties

Water jug filled with urine

^ That was special.

I was much, much less grossed out and horrified by the broken leg than those pictures.

He and Reggie Smith would get along great.

I lived for a year in a very similar house at 18th and Wells.

Maybe a different thread entirely...

What are the possibilities of players transferring between schools in conference?  I assume this all goes out the window starting July 1, right?

Was it the pools of human fecal matter on the floor or the maggots wriggling in vomit that brought you back to 18th & Wells?

Frankly, I admire the use of a 5 gallon water jug as a portable urinal. How very efficient. He never had to get out of bed.

Depends on your definition of in conference. We should be able to take any non-NBE transfers. So you we wanted Zeigler, I'm sure Buzz could pursue. Don't see that, though. I think if we took anyone the most likely scenarios would be a one-year grad student that was either a PG or C.

Raise your hand if you were so far from the bathroom in the dorms that you had a bottle or jug to relieve yourself at night!  Knew a bunch of people who did that, but a big 5 gallon at the end of the hall might have served all of us.

Most bizarre sight was a guy named Finnegan passed out one Sunday morning on the floor of our head in Schroeder. He was sprawled on the floor with his pants around his ankles, head in the urinal, and a pool of liquid sh1t on the floor around his backside. Of course, rather than show compassion, guys sharpied penii all over his body and squirted shaving cream all over his head and ass cheeks.

uh...Tom??

Yep. He was on 10th floor when I was there...a year older than me.  We had a bunch of guys on 10th from St. Ignatius and St. Ed's.

Tom was a good guy.  Wore a kilt to class on St Patties one year.

Tom was a good guy. He was a freshmen when we were sophomores. Tom went to St Ignats and was a huge fan of the Tribe. I follow the O's so we had a standing bet every game between those two teams. Man, back then the AL East was tits. We had the arms and Murray, Singleton, etc... Hell, even the Brewers were good.

Tom passed out in the head and of course everyone messed with him. He was painted and decorated well. He couldn't get the drawings off for days. He had a dick on his cheek (facial) for a week. Too funny. How do you explain that sitting in Fr Davitt's Ethics class?
