OK ....... yesterday UNC secured a verbal from one of the top 10 players in the current sophomore class, PG Kendall Marshall . UNC already has a verbal from Larry Drew Jr, a PG in the class of 2008 and is considered one of the front runners for 2009 G Dexter Strickland and 2009 WF/2G Dominic Cheek. How bad to they want Shumpert?

Today, Dick Weiss reports that Sylven Landesberg, a 6'6" PG from NYC, is down to UVA, St John's, and Georgia Tech. . . . . . and that he's interested in getting immediate PT wherever he goes as a point guard.  GT is recruiting him as wing according to Dick Weiss - - and hoping to get Shumpert as well.  Interesting
