Very similar plays so shouldn't the one in the Final Four be ranked higher than one in the Elite Eight?

Duke and Kentucky vs. Marquette and Charlotte.
Television coverage in 1992 vs. 1977.

As much as I hate Duke and Laettner that play sticks out to me more than any non MU moment by a wide margin. That play by Laettner will be remembered for as long as anyone that saw it is alive.

I think the TV aspect plays the biggest role in Laettner's shot being more iconic

TallTitan34

Do you think it has anything to do with the Marquette shot being on NBC? CBS always shows the Duke shot but they also own that footage.  It's probably more difficult to use NBC footage.
