Can you elaborate?  Sorry, maybe I am out of touch, but I don't know who that guy is other than seeing him in photos, etc.  I don't think he's an assistant coach.

Edit: Nevermind, I finally got less lazy and looked it up and figured out he is Student-Athlete Development Specialist.

He used to play under Buzz at UNO then came here as a graduate manager. Now is a 'Student Athlete Development Specialist'. Based on twitter pictures/other media he seems to connect well to the players and probably provides a good bridge between the coaches and the players.

Milwaukee - Marquette University head men's basketball coach Buzz Williams has announced the addition of Jamie McNeilly as a graduate manager for the upcoming 2008-09 campaign.

McNeilly, who played at the collegiate level at the University of New Orleans, saw action under Williams as a senior in 2006-07.

"As I have said from the beginning, our program will always be about the players," Williams said. "I have an extremely strong loyalty to the players I have coached and believe it is my responsibility to help them grow in their career once they have finished playing.

"Jamie was one of my favorite players I have had the opportunity to coach during my career," Williams added. "More than any other player I have coached, he was passionate on a daily basis and gave everything he was able to give, without fail."

After earning a bachelor's degree from UNO in general studies in 2007, the Toronto native played professionally in Germany in 2007-08. He joined USC Heidelberg of the Pro A league, playing in a total of 14 games. He averaged 10.9 points, 3.6 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game.

"He will serve as a direct link to our players on an hourly basis and because of his outstanding ability to communicate with other players, I believe he will have a profound impact on our program," Williams said. "He doesn't know it yet, but as he is able to learn from a different perspective as he pursues his graduate degree, I think he will have a very bright future in the coaching profession."

A Third Team All-Sun Belt selection as a junior at UNO, McNeilly concluded his career averaging 10.7 points, 4.0 assists and 2.8 rebounds per contest. He earned three letters with the Privateers after one season at South Georgia Technical College (2003-04), where he as an all-conference performer as well.

McNeilly owned international experience prior to his stint in Germany, having played for Team Canada in the 2005 Summer Universiade event in Turkey and in the same tournament in Bangkok in 2007.

There is somebody taking a knee behind DG.   Being DG, impossible to tell who is behind him.
