I am also wondering how Mayo would feel about this.  Not playing and having a walkon take your minutes in an NCAA game.  Not looking good.

Chris plays like this, I can take the sometimes stupid turnovers.  Come back big fella.

YES. For some reason my threa got deleted. I have hated on CHris a lot. He is poor catching the ball, gets stripped and travels. Today he did some Falling over. Don't care. He was the guy who at all times went after it. We all know he has great d that forces bad shots and rebounds. Today he got those rebounds himself and stuffed peopled. Vander is the Man. CO won this game. Heart of a warrior.

Speaking of (and I will be the first to point out how pessimistic this comment is on my part), as I watch the replay over and over, it's difficult for me not to take note of Ferguson's complete stoicism after Vander hit the layup.  Can't say he looks happy to be at MU.

I saw it, so maybe it was merged

Yeah I think Ferguson is a Jamail ans Ewill situation.  With our incoming class he's really gonna have to battle for PT.  Could be another transfer situation.

Why can't we just wait to see what happens?

I am not with you on this one. CO has done well of late, but not sure he is answer next year or not. I would not be mad or disappointed if he came back, just not sure I would be doing cartwheels if he did. For MU to go next level they need to speed up the game. Uptempo teams are the toughest to beat and CO and Gardner limit our effectiveness to play fast. As bad as can be we can probably beat every non uptempo team on given night. This fan would love to see us move in that fast pace direction.

Actually.... I'm hoping that Vander doesn't come back next year.

Because he was taken in the first round of the NBA draft.

Because he just won tourney MVP.

Because MU is the national champion.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Uptempo teams can use a shot blocker at the basket.  Not everyone has to run for it to be up tempo.

Just hope a couple of the new cats can shoot the rock.

Thanks for explanation on that, Sultan. I guess my idea of idea with uptempo and a shot blocker are two different things. He played great against Davidson. I want someone that can help MU beat the Florida's and Louisville's of the world.

Well played, 4ever. Would rather Steve Taylor play in that position than CO.

Stretchdeltsig

Agree that it will be great to see 6'9 1/2" McKay play next year at the 5 with Gardner.  He's an animal underneath and plays much faster and better offensively that Chris.  It's time for him to move on.  MU needs to play faster next year.
