Most Important Question for Next Year's Success...
« on: April 16, 2013, 03:57:43 PM »
With Vander, Juan, and Jamaal all moving on, and obviously Junior and Trent gone, and possibly Jamil and Jake leaving, the biggest question as to whether we have a successful first year in the New Big East or not is who is the first player spotted on campus in a walking boot?  I'm hoping it's Flood, but fearing it will be Davante.

An injury could be devastating next year.  Especially if it's to Chris or Davante.

Steve and Jamil would definitely have to step up.

Have you seen our front court in year's past? Otule got hurt just two years ago and his replacement was Jamil... and we still went to the S16. An injury would obviously hurt, but to say it would be devastating when we have the deepest frontline in a decade is a little bit of an overstatement.

I think Steve will be the go to guy next year.

The most important question for next year's success is how good are the freshmen.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

If we lose Chris or Davante our chances of going to the sweet sixteen are extremely low.  They will be relied upon more than in years past, especially to score.  We also probably will have the weakest backcourt we've had in a few years.  Don't have DJO or Vander to pick up the slack.  Hopefully Todd can step up.

THE go to guy? No freakin' way. Davante and Jamil are at the top of that list. Steve is in the "others", which includes Mayo and the newcomers.

He'll be the go to guy in training, Jamil and Davante get the rock next year.
