Senior Day: Those who attended post game
« on: March 03, 2013, 09:22:39 AM »
I thought Lockett's speech along with the team surrounding him was unbelievably moving.  Cadougan was great too but something about the Lockett thing blew me away.

I hope a Looney or Stone were there in attendance.  Lockett, without saying it, indicated that in one year he felt more like family at Marquette than three at ASU.

Couldn't agree more.  Junior is my guy, and I enjoyed his speech.  Great attitude and funny.  Trent, though, was so moving.  Such a strong connection to MU in such a short time.  A true testament to our university and him as a man.  This Warrior shed a tear.

I couldn't understand a word Lockett said after the team ran up to hug him, and it was still fantastic.

I normally do not stay for SR. ceremony and glad I did. Was very impressed with both guys and loved Lockett's speech and team support. Buzz does build a family and showed big time yesterday.

Lockett's words about the culture at MU, particularly after having success at a differnet high-major program, were very moving.   And they should be sent to every potential recruit.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.
