What does everyone think of Cincy's chances of pulling the upset tonight and helping us break the tie with Louisville?

The game is in Louisville but Cincy is desperate for wins at this point to help them make the tourney. Their win on Saturday against UConn brought them back to .500 in conference play so Cincy should still be desperate and this would be a signature road win for them. I give them a 40% chance tonight.

I just want to see a one two finish for the C7 schools, ideally we share it with Georgetown, but I can live with a 2nd to them if I have to but will be rooting hard for Cuse against them on Saturday.

Nukem2

Would not be surprised if Cincy wins this one.  Cincy has its back to the wall and really needs this win.

Higher than Penn State beating Michigan, bout the same as Purdue winning at UW.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I just don't want to have to root for ND on Saturday, the thought alone makes me feel like I need to shower.

Very slim chance. Cincy was overrated for the first half of the season and they've been showing their true colors down the stretch. The "they need it" argument doesn't really fly when Louisville is vying for a conference title. And the fact that it's at Louisville also weighs heavily in favor of a UL victory, though Cincy has shown up on the road beating PITT, and nearly beating Cuse (two-point loss) and UCONN (OT loss).

Don't know if Cincy can win this one or not. I'd give Notre Dame a better chance of going into UL Saturday and winning. Their games are always close(almost always seem to go to OT), but ND kind of owns UL, no matter where it's played. Be rooting hard for Cincy though. Not sure they get into the NCAAs with a 9-9 BE record, so they NEED this one tonight. Get this one out of the way, MU beats Rutgers tomm night, A desperate and hungry Nova team beats Georgetown Wednesday night, and MU goes into Saturday with a chance to at least share the BE title. In fact, I'd then like their chances to win it outright as I think Cuse knocks off Georgetown saturday.

Ironically, the Cuse-Georgetown game is at 11:00 Saturday morning...MU plays at 1:00. The boys will know when they hit the floor if they have a chance for a title, whether it be outright or shared.

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

Cincy has some big issues offensively. They can't shoot. Also, Wright hasn't been the same since he went down with a knee issue earlier in the season against DePaul. Cincy was lucky that Napier didn't play against them on Saturday, otherwise they probably lose to UConn.

On the other hand, Louisville has been playing like a legit Final Four team. I don't see how Cincy wins this one.

RushmoreAcademy

I'd be real surprised if they won... I mean REAL surprised. Cincy isn't the same team they were early in the season.
That being said, with my game picking history, my sole picking of Louisville as a lock gives Cincy a good chance.

Looeyville often swoons early and peaks in March.  Will be surprised if Louisville loses another game before NCAA tourney let alone at home vs. Cincy.
