Going to other teams' boards makes me really appreciate what we have over here at muscoop. No ads. Superior layout. Ours looks way nice than Dayton's. thanks mods!

If they really want to prove their interest, they should fire up that legendary caravan of Cavaliers and embark on a tour of all of the C7 schools and then Fox Sports' HQ.

I'm sure PTM wouldn't mind hosting them all at his place, right?  ;)

Wait a second ... I'm sure I remember that a highly intelligent, well-connected Dayton fan told us here that Marquette would be begging to get into the A-10 and that there was NO WAY that Dayton would think of accepting a bid to the lousy New Big East.

So this whole email campaign they're launching must not be real.

Totally agree. I can barely stand the Holy Hoops website without wanting to tear my eyes out.

You're right.  This must be a diversion to get the C7 to realize that Dayton is the end all, be all of collegiate basketball and that the C7 would be best suited in the A10 where Dayton can keep their egos in check.
Relax. Respect the Process.

Humm, a Dayton fan is trying to start an e-mail campaign, maybe they do belong!
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

The best thing they could do is shut up and figure out a way to have a consistent NCAA tournament-calibur program.  Right now they're just annoying and their program stinks.

They'll only join if we move the Big East tournament from Madison Square Garden to University of Dayton Arena.

Won't happen and Dayton can, well, clean up its act and then join

They listed Fr Pilarz' mailing address as

Rev. Scott R. Pilarz, S.J.
(414) 288-7223
President; Associate Professor of English
Zilber Hall, 441

That should work, right?   ;D

Granted, they've "owned" us in the most recent games, but...

SCOREBOARD: http://wiki.muscoop.com/doku.php/men_s_basketball/dayton

and this is why Dayton might not be a good fit: http://flyersfix.com/dayton-basketball/statseed-update/statsheet-projects-dayton-as-cit-team-02-28-2013

Not sure we'll have enough hot towels and wine lists for all of them

Awwwwww, they're excited  :)  Good to have them.

BTW, this is hilarious: http://holylandofhoops.com/

I like the post who says they have a source who believes Richmond is in, not Dayton.

I don't get it.

Dayton fans are emphasizing their "connection" with Xavier is like a familial bond which can never be broken yet forget they left Xavier behind. They also stress the rivalry with Cincinnati is also important to any potential conference affiliations.

Dayton appears to be DiCaprio reaching for Big East Winslet's hand to save him as he sinks into obscurity.
