Nova had their chance to go up by more than one possession and they got a steal and a layup to move the lead to 5 and never looked back.  MU started chucking 3s to regain the difference.

This stretch did us in.  Went 2 1/2 minutes with a less than ideal lineup on the floor waiting for the under-8 media timeout.  Instead of attacking which would have hopefully led to a whistle we chucked bad 3s and live action points at the other end which is when the lead extended out of reach.  Only had two timeouts at that point, so we needed play to stop.

MU up 2 with the ball in a tight game with Devantae on the line.  He misses badly on both and MU never really regains footing.  In these tight games their is something psychologically huge to get up by more than one possession.  Some times teams start to get tight and jack up threes to make up the difference which can lead to a bigger hole.

Yeah, stuff like this happens, particularly on the road.  Our 85% FT shooter big man misses both his free throws and their 40% FT shooter big man, hits both of his, including the front end of the one-and-one.  Those 4 points are the difference.

We were lost from the start IMO. The body language looked like no confidence to me. In addition, when we get in rut with the horrible dribble around half court offense we have hard time shaking out of it.

I actually thought it was Jamil Wilson being wide open for the three, then he passed it and bounced off the back of Gardner's head.  MU was down like three and after that it went downhill.  Wilson should have taken that shot.

This is what I felt too.  Maybe not turning point, but the biggest spot. Momentum that seemed to be swinging back MU's way died right there.
