Looking over the Bradley Center events calendar, I'm guessing here, but it looks like the Blue & Gold will be November 9th-10th. That's the earliest I can remember the tourney being, and I would think that would be MU's opener.

The Bucks have the BC every Saturday in Nov/Dec except on Dec 8th (when we're @ Madison), and Dec 29th (which would most likely be too far along for the B&G to take place).

Sir Lawrence

I learned today that your guess is correct.  The B&G Classic will indeed take place on November 9 & 10--don't know who the teams are, but those are the dates.

Who the heck are we playing this year?

I can tell you some teams we're not playing.  Centenary.  Delaware State.  North Dakota State. Louisiania Tech.  Boise State.  Idaho.  Northwestern.  Morgan State.

I didn't check schools like Minnesota, MSU, NCState, Indiana, Florida and Duke.  Must be some of those.

I know there's 300 plus teams in the NCAA, but I'm starting to wonder who some of our "buy" opponents (outside of Coppin St) for non-conference and the B&G will be.

Collegehoops.net does a decent job of updating schedules as they come out, and as Hilltopper mentioned above, it seems like a lot of these teams are taking pay day grabs elsewhere.

To add to Centenary, Delaware St, North Dakota St, La Tech, Boise St, Idaho...

...Austin Peay, Hampton, UNC Asheville, Central Conn. St, Duquense, UM-KC, East Tenn. St, Belmont, Gardner Webb, Cleveland St, Northwestern St, Winston Salem St, Liberty, Texas-Arlington, Oakland, Valpo, Oral Roberts, Murray St, Bucknell, Appalachian St, Jacksonville, Howard, Eastern Illinois, Longwood, Tenn. St, Colgate, Winthrop, Akron, Dartmouth, Sam Houston St, Southern, Furman, Georgia Southern, Quinnipac, Chattanooga, Elon, Denver, Eastern Michigan, Mercer, North Florida, Mid Tenn St, Samford, Western Carolina, McNeese St, Wright St...

What is that, close to 50 teams? I know that still leave 250+, but still, you'd think we'd have one of these guys above. Get ready for IUPUI or IPFW I suppose.

Being originally from Minnesota, I wouldn't mind seeing another Tubby Smith/Tom Crean showdown.  Hopefully we could give Tubby the same treatment that got us into the Final Four in 2003.
