The 1H efficiency, eFG%, defensive turnover, and offensive rebounding numbers are sick. And if you want something to be critical about, #mubb was still a little careless with the ball and allowed too many offensive rebounds (but is anyone really complaining)

2H numbers should entirely be taken with a grain of salt because blowout.

My recollection was that USF got a ton of their ORs, not only in the second half, but in the last five minutes or so of the second half.

RushmoreAcademy

That's the way I remember it too.  I feel like I remember them flashing a stat and they only had 6 fg attempts shots and they were at the 9 minute mark of the first half.

Just because I have time this morning.

1H
Their first OR was with 8:52 remaining in the 1H, and the score was 26-10.
7:22, 6:15, 4:26, 4:15, 3:34, 2:34 (36-13)

2H
First OR was with 12:45 remaining in the half (score was 49-24)
11:07, 10:47, 5:51, 5:14, 4:51, 2:11, 2:07, 2:05, 0:57

2H numbers seem to really back that up, and both halves show MU really putting the defensive rebounding screws on in the first part of each half.

That's when it happened.  Specifically from the point Taylor entered the game.  He had a terrible night on the defensive half of the floor.  I don't worry about it moving forward, as the game was over before his stretch at the end.

The first half was very impressive.  South Florida is not very good, but they are a very good defensive team, so those offense efficiency numbers are very encouraging.  I thought we'd eke out a close win last night like so many teams seem to do against USF.  It was nice to relax and enjoy an easy win for a change.

Taylor didn't play well against Louisville either.  And Anderson is playing well.  Had 7 rebounds last night and lead the team.

My recollections is that they had a couple of offensive rebounds, but did not have any second chance points for the first 30 minutes.    Hair-splitting.   Phenomenal effort defensively and on the boards.

Thanks for that... I'll do my best to put them up more regularly.

Also, feel free to PM me your email address and I'll happily share the spreadsheet.
