Got me thinking about Jimmy
« on: February 07, 2013, 11:56:14 AM »
"If you are under the age of 21, regardless of marital status, your parent or legal guardian must sign the NLI in order for it to be considered valid."  Comes from the article today about the kid who's mom won't sign his NLOI for Ark football.  The articles I perused about Jimmy's situation was that he was only 'unofficially' adopted by the Leslie/Lambert family in Tomball.  Wonder if he had to track down his mom to sign that NLOI he apparently faxed in from a Mikky D's or what.

"Thanks for kicking me out.  How have I been doing, fine. Oh by the way, here's my paperwork for a full scholarship to MU, see ya"

Obviously I know nothing about the type of emotion potentially linked to that moment, and I'm not trying to downplay any aspect of it; but wow.
