Anderson almost didn't get this chance

Juan Anderson is playing above expectations in his sophomore year.

His roster spot was guaranteed, it was just a question of whether he would play this year.

Agreed.   Poorly worded.   'Anderson was almost red-shirted due to shoulder injury' is far more accurate.

But then the headline wouldn't imply that Buzz almost Buzz-sawed him...

Hey, hey,... misleading negative headlines are just an example of Hunt's journalistic integrity.  It's his way of proving that he's not a casual fan of the team, but instead has kept the necessary distance to allow him to write like a Badger troll.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Isn't it usually the copy editor and not the reporter who writes headlines?

Not sure how it works with the MJS or with a reporter of Hunt's seniority, but headline used to be crafted with story layout, etc, long after a story has been filed.

Blog posts are obviously different.
